“Over the past several years, I’ve had an increasing restlessness related to yoga. I was searching for a place to dive deeply into my own spiritual journey, but felt uninspired and disconnected from the superficial focus of many studios. I had all but given up on yoga when I felt led (very randomly, as I knew nothing about Kundalini yoga at all) to do an internet search for Kundalini studios in my area. Just viewing Rachel’s website gave me a deep sense of hope and peace. I cried through my first two classes at Adi Shakti, feeling the connection and inspiration I had long been seeking. I’ve been doing private sessions with Rachel for the past 4 months, and it has been transformative beyond description. She is a compassionate and nonjudgmental presence, and brings incredible knowledge and wisdom to designing my personal practice. In the 9 years since I began my yoga journey, I’ve never felt so dedicated and committed as I have with Rachel’s guidance. Yoga is a spiritual practice for sure, but she has also given me very practical tools to use in navigating the challenges I am facing in my life. I am forever grateful.”
